Products that do what iMessage is the best interface, so I built TypeScript SDK for it does
I was building my personal agent, but I had to use Telegram, as it was the easiest platform to integrate. I wanted to build the harness and agent, not the infrastructure around these two, yet my UX was struggling. I stick to iMessage, and then I had to use another app to interact with my agent... So I spent a weekend on building a TypeScript SDK, that unifies how to interact with different iMessage providers (as there is no official way to use iMessage), so you can play around with them, without having to commit to one, nor with a need to rewrite half of the codebase to change the…

Hello HN! The day has finally come to stop adding features and start sharing what I've been building the last 5-6 months. It's a bit of CrewAI, OpenDevon, LangFuse/Cloud all in one, providing devs who prefer TypeScript an integrated framework thats provides a lot out of the box to start experimenting and building agents with. It started after peeking at the LangChain docs a few times and never liking the example code. I began experimenting with automating a simple Jira request from the engineering team to add an index to one of our Google Spanner databases (for context I'm the…

While playing with agents I realised it might be quite handy if they could get access to OTP codes. And while at it, why not give them ability to send the SMS as well. Twillio is expensive and annoying to set up for my taste. I vibe coded simple Android app that can read/send SMS and simple relay server that acts as MCP for agents. Works surprisingly well and my old android phone from a drawer is doing something useful again. Feel free to use it if you find it useful. I put it just to a $5 vps. If it's crashed, you should be able to spin up your own instance on your own VPS just in a…

TLDR: Check out our documentation search here: https://xata.io/docs/overview Hello HN. I'm a designer over at Xata. We build a serverless database platform on top of Postgres and Elastic-like search that provides goodies like a native TypeScript client for type support in your IDE. Long story short, we're trying to bundle all the normal stuff you need out of a database along with branching, so you don't have to glue everything together. Today we added a new /ask/ endpoint to our search product that bundles in ChatGPT support into any stored data. Why would you…

Hey my name is Patrick, I’m a co-founder and CTO of Linq. We’re an API for sending and receiving iMessages (it does RCS/SMS too). It can do everything you can manually in iMessage (typing indicators, reactions, delivery emphasis, FindMy etc.) Our main customers are companies building conversational agents but we’re wanting to make it easier for developers to get started for free. To do that we built a CLI that lets you manage up to 20 contacts and gives you full API access for free. I’d love your feedback so we can keep improving it. Install via npm using: npm install -g…

Hey HN, what I wanted to build here is a proper universal layer for persisted agentic sessions, that could be seamlessly interacted both via web and a messenger (Telegram). I really like what's done so far and would be nice to hear some feedback from you. The interesting thing is that I started to use Chatcode during its development as soon it was possible, so used this tool to build itself. I know that there could be trust/privacy concerns, because it relies on a gateway that you need to install on your machine in order to work, but: 1. You can use it on any machine, just have some…
