Hiya! So I've been playing around with having Claude make videos for a bit now even had some success posting the results to TikTok (and setup a whole pipeline so Claude can generate and post autonomously). With the release of Nano Banana 2 Lite, I was curious show fast I could make the generation, so last night I gave it a whirl and got down to around 30s for short-form video. I've been working on this Claude Code pipeline for making 10-minute movies, gluing together Seedance (videogen), Nano Banana (image gen), and ElevenLabs (voice gen), and using Claude as the director. My repo contributes a markdown playbook and a worked example which should make it easier for other people to make their own short movies. A first-pass movie takes around 2.5 hours of wall clock time and costs around $200, and iterating is easy thanks to intermediate artifacts like storyboards and voice samples.

Hey HN, Long time lurker first time posting. This is a streamlit app I wrote as a side project. It's a Generative AI webapp for creating short 30 second informative videos on any topic or subject under the sun. It's not perfect by any means, but a cool demo.
