I recently published a new package on npm that brings the Anthropic APIs to React Native without polyfills. The library supports chat streaming and normal chat completions. The goal of the library is to follow the Node SDK wherever possible while taking advantage of React Native SSE for streaming where the Anthropic Node SDK does not work. Lmk what you think or if this will be useful to you!

Checking on some old material to provide some cross-referencing[1] I got this message: We've temporarily limited requests for old items. I've always taken it for granted that HN contained useful information that I'd be able to retrieve whenever I found the need, but this has brought me up short. Perhaps older discussions will eventually become unavailable. Will Google cache still have them? Will the Wayback machine still have them? How convenient will they be to find in the future. I hit my Claude Code usage limit yesterday in the middle of regular work. Not doing anything unusual - just a couple of coding sessions. It felt like it came out of nowhere. Then today Anthropic announced they're tightening 5-hour limits during peak hours. It feels like a rug pull is coming and we're all just supposed to accept "you've used too much" with no explanation of what "too much" means. Usage limits have always been opaque.
