I became frustrated with the unpredictible/poor match quality and opaqueness of "relevance scores" in existing fuzzy and fulltext search libs, so I tried something different and this is the result. We've been building data pipelines that scrape websites and extract structured data for a while now. If you've done this, you know the drill: you write CSS selectors, the site changes its layout, everything breaks at 2am, and you spend your morning rewriting parsers. I always had a sweet tooth for how easy it is to use google/benchmark, but when working with js, current libraries didn't feel right and some were not even accurate enough, so I decided to create my own library to make JavaScript benchmarking tooling better. With more free time, I finally implemented all features I wished for in 1.0.0 and made a lightweight C++ single-header version for moments when google/benchmark is too much. Took a stab at building my own string diffing JS package. I built an interactive demo for TypeIt’s website (https://typeitjs.com/build-your-own) a while back. I made this app to write books chapter by chapter, while taking & browsing through temporary notes for each chapter. The leftmost sidebar is the list of chapters. I've written Mojibake because I don't like the other Unicode libraries for Unicode support. It consists of only two amalgamation files: mojibake.h and mojibake.c.
