Kalmia started as a small hobby project about two months ago, but it quickly evolved when we needed a better solution to manage our office's documentation. It has now become our go-to tool for both internal and user-facing docs. Recently, we decided to open source it, as we believe others might benefit from a lightweight, customizable documentation system like this. We're excited to see how the community can take it further, contribute, and adapt it to their own needs!

I wanted to run AI from inside the JVM. I started out with the standard REST sidecar, ripped that out to use Project Panama (Foreign Function & Memory API) in the new JDK versions to interface directly with llama.cpp. I still wasn't happy with how that functioned, so I built libargus.cc to get a clean ABI to expose a structured API up in the JVM landscape. It still uses Project Panama to interface directly with llama.cpp, whisper.cpp, and ggml compute graphs. I have zero-allocation on the hot paths, memory segments for prompts and tokens are allocated once inside confined Arenas. Raw…

Hi HN, we are excited to show you Klavis AI. It is an open source project and we provide hosted versions with API access as well. (Website: https://www.klavis.ai/, Github repo: https://github.com/Klavis-AI/klavis) We're addressing a couple of key problems with using MCPs. First, many available MCP servers lack native or used-based authentications, creating security vulnerabilities and adding complexity during development. Second, many MCP servers are personal projects, not designed for the reliability needed in production. Connecting to these servers…

Last month, we open-sourced Supaglue (https://github.com/supaglue-labs/supaglue) as a developer toolkit for building customer-facing Salesforce integrations. Since then, we've been iterating on our approach with users and are re-launching Supaglue as an open source unified API, starting with CRMs. With our re-launched public alpha you can: - Interact with HubSpot and Salesforce through a unified REST API - Sync data from HubSpot and Salesforce into a local Postgres cache and make reads against a normalized CRM schema - Make writes (POST and PATCH) to HubSpot and…

I shared a previous version of yapi a few months ago in the comments section of a post talking about the insanity of Postman being 'down'. yapi has developed into a more mature project since then! https://github.com/jamierpond/yapi Still very early, but it makes me much more productive vs Postman, Bruno, Insomnia, etc. If youre a nvim/tmux culture human, you might like this!

I recently built a small open-source tool to benchmark different LLM API endpoints — including OpenAI, Claude, and self-hosted models (like llama.cpp). It runs a configurable number of test requests and reports two key metrics: • First-token latency (ms): How long it takes for the first token to appear • Output speed (tokens/sec): Overall output fluency Demo: https://llmapitest.com/ Code: https://github.com/qjr87/llm-api-test The goal is to provide a simple, visual, and reproducible way to evaluate performance across different LLM providers, including…

Founder here, Poozle integrates different APIs [Gmail, JIRA, Github, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Slack etc.] and provides a single GraphQL layer to integrate third party APIs and perform CRUD operations. In our previous jobs, we did many integrations, but we found that there is no standardization to the process. We had to write separate authentication code for each application, and for some applications, we had to integrate via APIs because the SDKs were stale. We also found that some integrations were completed quickly, while others took longer. Started working full time on this idea from Jan’23…
