Hey HN I built a free AI SEO app called seoby.ai. I'm launching it on ProductHunt, Reddit and a few other places on Monday (19th February). It's 100% free, and has some pretty neat tools: 1. AI Content Detector: Find out if your content was written by a human or generated by AI. 2. AI Outline Generator: Remove writer's block and generate SEO-friendly outlines for your articles, blog posts, and landing pages. 3. AI SEO Topic Cluster Generator: Generate SEO-optimized topic clusters for your website and get better search engine visibility. I would love feedback/ideas/suggestions of…

AI search results are quickly becoming more important than SEO, but as businesses, we have no visibility over it! That's why I'm building "Ahrefs for AI search results". Track keyword performance on AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity & more

Hello HN! Being a software engineer and an SEO guy I wrote a heap of tools and scripts to make my life easier. Now I've decided to share some of them with the community, and made a small site where I will be publishing them. They are all completely free (yes, free forever) and you don't even need to sign up for the site. Just use the thing as you like, no limits. Currently you can access 4 instruments: - Backlink retriever - Thin/weak content analyzer - Traffic trend analysis - Visitor list retriever I am planning on releasing more free tools with time, and trying to stay original by…

So I've been obsessed with a weird question for the past 6 months, what happens to SEO when everyone starts asking ChatGPT for recommendations instead of Googling? The answer, apparently, is chaos. And maybe opportunity? I built FirstClick because I noticed something strange. My previous startup was getting zero traffic from AI assistants, but our competitor (objectively worse product, sorry not sorry) was getting mentioned by Claude and Perplexity constantly. It drove me crazy. So I reverse engineered why. Turns out there's a whole new game being played and most founders don't even know it…

Hey HN, I’m a solopreneur and have been in the SaaS space for the past 3 years. My last three startups failed, and a common challenge in all of them was figuring out how to reach my audience. SEO always seemed like the answer, but I didn’t know where to start. It felt overwhelming—so many technical terms like keyword research, clustering, SERP, semantics, topical authority… I could go on. That’s where my idea for my next startup came from: building an all-in-one SEO tool that’s easy to use and understand. The complexity of SEO is hidden behind a simple UI, and the only thing users need to do…

With AI, it's faster than ever to ship a marketing site... but most of what gets generated is slop that was never built to be found. Plus the tools meant to catch that fall short: most SEO auditors cost money, don't play nicely with your agents, or tell you what's wrong without telling you how to actually rank for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization: being cited by AI search like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews). crawlie fixes that! It's 100% free, it's local-first, it's agent-native (MCP baked in!), and every issue it finds comes with why it matters and how to fix it.

Hi HN, I’ve been working on Spiderseek, a platform to help track and grow website visibility in AI-powered search engines (e.g. Perplexity, ChatGPT, and other agents). Traditional SEO tools are expensive and focused on Google-style search. I wanted something lightweight and AI-first, so I built Spiderseek: AI Research – Explore domains and keywords to uncover new opportunities. AI Analytics – See traffic, crawl activity, and page metrics, plus insights from AI agents. Content Submission – Get content indexed instantly in major AI agents. Rankings – Browse the top 1000 domains sorted by…

Hi HN! My name is Yossi, and I'm a solo indie maker. SEO tools are super pricey and free tools often fall short, leaving most users to costly subscription-based tools. So, I built SEO Stuff, a keyword tool that uses a credit-based system for builders like me who use SEO more sporadically. Have a great day!

The service, as of right now, is the free diagnostic tool (the AI-powered optimization service will launch in late July). Please use the diagnostic tool and offer your feedback on the functionality and interface--any input is greatly appreciated! I hope to keep the diagnostic tool permanently free forever. By using the tool, you may find ways to improve your website; you are welcome to fix those issues on your own. Such a task should be easy if your website is very small; otherwise, you are the ideal customer for Loyae!

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.

I’ve spent the last 2.5 months building a product that runs LLM-powered code reviews on my pull requests — and I just launched it. The tool is built specifically for solo developers. You install it on your repo, trigger a scan by creating a pull request, and it leaves structured review comments using OpenAI under the hood. Funnily enough, I used the dev version of this app to review its own pull requests while building it. It helped me spot bugs, simplify structure, and keep quality high — all with minimal need for another human in the loop. Things I want to try out in the next months : -…

Hey HN, After GPT-3 created waves in the tech industry, a lot of AI tools were emerging and with that, some AI website builders But the results seemed way too generic to us. It felt like the developers were rushing to catch the wave instead of building a proper tool We took our time, did months of RnD and finally came up with something better than what others in the market are doing. It’s got better design output. While it’s still in beta, I wanted to show HN what we did. Will appreciate the feedback when you guys try it out. Here is the link to signup for the beta:…

I built a tool to roast landing pages with AI agents. I was gathering feedback from watching landing page roast videos, and figured out I could prompt LLMs to analyse a screenshot and roast based on the same criteria. It's not 100% accurate yet, but it has been really insightful when I've tested it on my own websites. Let me know what you think!

Hello HN community! I'm excited to share a project I've been working on: an AI-powered Cookie Policy Generator. The aim is to simplify the process of creating compliant cookie policies for your website, and it does so in a matter of minutes. Here are some of its key features: Automated Website Scanning: The tool can automatically scan your website for third-party cookies and incorporate them into your policy. Conversational UI: With a friendly and intuitive conversational interface, all you need to do is answer a few simple questions about your website and how you store user data in the…

Hi HN, I’ve been working on an AI-powered website builder that allows anyone to create a fully functional website in just a few minutes. No coding, no design skills—just a simple, intuitive process with AI handling the heavy lifting. Here’s what you can do with it: • Create a website by entering a name, description, and subdomain. • Use AI to design the site, customize content, and edit sections with simple prompts. • Preview, tweak, and publish your website live instantly. • Download the code for full flexibility if you want to self-host or integrate. It’s still an MVP, and I’ve got lots of…

Excited to share something I've been building recently called ReplyGuy. I made it to solve a personal pain with a SaaS product I built, which was that we were always monitoring Reddit and Twitter to see if anyone had mentioned keywords indicating they were looking for us. Before, we had to go manually respond to posts, often missing good mention opportunities. Would love for HN folks to try it and let me know what you think!

Hi HN! I built this tool, because Large Language Models are hallucinating their asses off and I wanted to test just how bad it is with a topic I know best - myself. I'm sure there are other egos out there who google themselves and essentially this is the new googling yourself. It's early beta, so lots of room for improvement of course.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a tool I built to help you quickly find potential customers across social media for your product. It's a really simple concept: you simply paste in your landing page URL, and it shows you highly relevant posts across Reddit (Working to integrate few more) from people who likely need your product or service. For example, if you have a minimal to-do list app, it will show you posts like "Anyone know of a minimal to-do list app?" or "Really starting to dislike how complex Notion is." These posts are from the last 48 hours, updated in real-time, and uniquely…
