I've been interested in meditation for many years now. Worked at meditation startups, have done Vipassana 10 day retreats. Hi HN, I have been working on a new tool that was inspired by Vannevar Bush's memex and Luhmann's Zettelkasten. Having been a long time user of different tools, I got to the point where I decided to build my own. You can create your own spirit animal based on any description you provide. It responds with an AI-generated summary of the page that you are on, using meta tags in the HTML of that page. I made this during a hack week at work (koodos.com). I wanted to build something fun that used AI (this specifically uses DALL-E and GPT-3) that kind of acted like a companion as you browse the web - similar to a Tamagotchi or Clippy (rip).
