Donely ▲220Hey HN, I'm Harsha, founder of Donely (https://donely.ai). What is Donely? Donely is an AI agent that lives on your Mac. It sees your screen, detects tasks in real-time, and autonomously executes them using your apps—think Jarvis for macOS. It monitors your workflow, answers questions with full context, and completes tasks with one-click approvals. The New Feature: Remote Computer Use Today we're shipping remote access. You can now control your Donely-powered Mac from anywhere through our web app. Whether you're traveling or away from your desk, you can kick off automation tasks on…

Context Gateway▲220We built an open-source proxy that sits between coding agents (Claude Code, OpenClaw, etc.) and the LLM, compressing tool outputs before they enter the context window. Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vFZ6MPrwjw#t=9s. Motivation: Agents are terrible at managing context. A single file read or grep can dump thousands of tokens into the window, most of it noise. This isn't just expensive — it actively degrades quality. Long-context benchmarks consistently show steep accuracy drops as context grows (OpenAI's GPT-5.4 eval goes from 97.2% at 32k to 36.6% at 1M…

I've been building computer-use tools for a while, and I quietly launched this about a month ago (122 Stars on GH). I figured it was worth sharing here. Over the last few months, a lot of computer-use agents have come out: Codex, Claude Code, CUA, and others. Most of them seem to work roughly like this: 1. Take a screenshot 2. Have the model predict pixel coordinates 3. Click x,y 4. Take another screenshot 5. Repeat That works, but it's slow, expensive in tokens, and fragile. If the UI shifts a few pixels, things break. And the model still doesn't know what any element actually is. But the…

Hey HN! My name is Christian, and I’m the co-founder of https://frigade.ai. We’ve built an AI agent that automatically learns how to use any web-based product, and in turn guides users directly in the UI, automatically generates documentation, and even takes actions on a user’s behalf. Think of it as Clippy from the old MS Office. But on steroids. And actually helpful. You can see the agent and tool-calling SDK in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPe0t3A1Vpg How is this different from other AI customer support products? Most AI "copilots" are really just…

I've been delegating work to Claude Code for the past few months, and it's been genuinely transformative—but managing multiple agents doing different things became chaos. No tool existed for this workflow, so I built one. The Problem When you're working with AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf), you end up in a weird situation: - You have tasks scattered across your head, Slack, email, and the CLI - Agents need clear work items, context, and role-specific instructions - You have no visibility into what agents are actually doing - Failed tasks just... disappear. No retry, no notification…
