A developer's machine accumulates tools fast. A Rust CLI you compiled last year, a Python formatter installed via `uv`, a language server pulled from npm, a terminal emulator from a curl script, a Go binary built from source. As a software engineer, my reflex has always been to script everything I can. Scripting is easy, but everything around it is tricky: scripts have to run somewhere, they need access to credentials, they need to be monitored. None of it is simple. Most functions work in Bash 4.3+ but there are those that work on older versions. The 'help' target in Makefile is on crack! Check the issues in that repo for upcoming features. Useful for DevOps Engineers or anyone who has to write Bash scripts.

Hey HN, if you are a developer you will probably know the following situation: You are going to a certain project directory and then you are searching for this one command which was specific to this project or you just want to go through the last commands you typed into your shell while you were working in this directory.
