Extracting clean text from PDFs is still a mess. Tools like dockling and marker do a decent job—but they’re slow and resource-hungry. pymupdf4llm is fast, but it’s AGPL-licensed, which means you'd need to open-source everything that talks to it—even over the network. Gemini Batch Prediction gives you blazing throughput and unbeatable pricing—$1 for 6,000 pages. The catch? It’s a pain to use. That is, until now. We wrapped it up in a few friendly CLI commands—simple enough for your grandparents to enjoy.

Hi HN users, we've built a simple add-on which allows website owner to individually paywall content. Add-on allows website visitor to micropay anywhere between 5 to 15 cents to access a paywalled content. Check up an explanatory GIF at: https://zen.market Ad-generated revenue keeps falling. Some publishers have installed soft paywalls which push website visitors to start monthly subscriptions. However, the way paywalls are usually implemented is unfriendly and discourages visitors from paying. Most publishers report that only 0.1-0.3% of their site's visitors become paying…

Mintlify Pro costs 250 USD per month. We wanted something similar (AI assistant and nice UI), but fully customizable and cheap. So we built GibsonAI docs in 1 day for about 50 USD. How we did it: Used Lovable for UI components + rendering MDX beautifully (Markdown stored in GitHub). Built an AI Agent for docs using Agno + Memori → personalized Q&A and “smart educator.” Stored embeddings in LanceDB and metadata in our SQL DB. Bonus: We can share our reusable design templates and source code so you can deploy on Vercel (or anywhere) and skip Lovable costs. Would love feedback on what features…

Hey HN, After GPT-3 created waves in the tech industry, a lot of AI tools were emerging and with that, some AI website builders But the results seemed way too generic to us. It felt like the developers were rushing to catch the wave instead of building a proper tool We took our time, did months of RnD and finally came up with something better than what others in the market are doing. It’s got better design output. While it’s still in beta, I wanted to show HN what we did. Will appreciate the feedback when you guys try it out. Here is the link to signup for the beta:…
