24 alternatives to Min.js style compression of tech docs for LLM context

Min.js Style Compression of Tech Docs for LLM Context - marv1nnnnn/llm-min.txt

Min.js is a tool that compresses technical documentation into a minimal format optimized for use as context input to large language models. It reduces verbose tech docs to their essential information, similar to how… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes.

We developed a new framework that enables flexible control of generated text in language models. By combining several models and/or system prompts in one mathematical formula, it lets you tweak your style and combine model outputs with ease. A handy tool for those working with LLMs, looking for more fine-grained control of stylistic output. More details in our paper: https://arxiv.org/abs/2311.14479. Feedback and potential applications are welcome.

We've been building data pipelines that scrape websites and extract structured data for a while now. If you've done this, you know the drill: you write CSS selectors, the site changes its layout, everything breaks at 2am, and you spend your morning rewriting parsers. LLMs seemed like the obvious fix — just throw the HTML at GPT and ask for JSON. Except in practice, it's more painful than that: - Raw HTML is full of nav bars, footers, and tracking junk that eats your token budget. A typical product page is 80% noise. - LLMs return malformed JSON more often than you'd expect, especially with…

Hi, I was a corporate lawyer for many years working with a lot of financial services and insurance companies. In practicing law, I noticed there was a lot of repetition in the tasks I was working on even as a highly paid attorney that could be automated. I wanted to solve the problem of dealing with a lot information and data in a practical way, using AI. This motivated me to start AI Bloks/LLMWare with my husband, who had a deep background in software and is a very early adopter of AI. We have been on this journey with our open source project LLMWare for the past 4 months, producing a…

https://yeargun.github.io/lilscript/ LilScript is a typed, compression-first language that compiles into js and sometimes into exec(will be more stable in future). The compiler mangles, reshapes the program into optimized js that happens to be 5-15% smaller (after gzip/br compression or raw) compared to the best performing JS toolchains like oxc/esbuild/terser/.. ## What has been proven to work with LilScript? - makes VSCode's core js modules 20% smaller on average - makes the world's most performant & small markdown rendering npm library, marked, 5-7%…

I was inspired by a recent tweet by Andrej Karpathy, as well as my own experience copying and pasting a bunch of html docs into Claude yesterday and bemoaning how long-winded and poorly formatted it was. I’m trying to decide if I should make it into a full-fledged service and completely automate the process of generating the distilled documentation. Problem is that it would cost a lot in API tokens and wouldn’t generate any revenue (plus it would have to be updated as documentation changes significantly). Maybe Anthropic wants to fund it as a public good? Let me know!

While working with LLMs for structured web data extraction, we saw issues with invalid JSON and broken links in the output. This led me to build a library focused on robust extraction and enrichment: - Clean HTML conversion: transforms HTML into LLM-friendly markdown with an option to extract just the main content - LLM structured output: Uses Gemini 2.5 flash or GPT-4o mini to balance accuracy and cost. Can also also use custom prompt - JSON sanitization: If the LLM structured output fails or doesn't fully match your schema, a sanitization process attempts to recover and fix the data,…

Docs.codes generates simple markdowns for open-source libraries that you can add to the context of your LLM assistants, helping them generate better code. Here's a quick walkthrough with pypi/mem0ai as example: https://youtu.be/SKZol8G_tIE LLMs struggle with generating correct code when using lesser-known libraries or dealing with major version changes that happen after their training cutoff. With these markdowns, you can ensure that your LLM chat/coding assistants have up-to-date knowledge of the library's API and usage patterns. We built this using the latest…
