Hi HN, TL;DR Mirror AI is a cross-platform desktop action oriented LLM. Instead of just replying with text, it can run terminal commands, move files, hit APIs, send email/messages, schedule calendar events, query databases etc. - and chain those steps in one request. I made this experimental art project/game that's an LLM chat assistant, but where you're the AI. I wanted people to get a visceral sense of what it's like to answer the kinds of things that people prompt their chatbots day in and day out. I'm lost between ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini... which subscriptions to take? Excited to share a project I’ve been building for months! Would love to receive honest feedback :) My motivation: AI is clearly going to be the interface for data. But earlier attempts (text-to-SQL, etc.) fell short — they treated it like magic. The space has matured: teams now realize that AI + data needs structure, context, and rules. I feel like LLMs can help me understand anything. However, after I get a summary, I can't dive in to parts that I find interesting; can't refer to original source easily and can't control context with chatbots. This is an attempt to solve for a complete knowledge consumption experience with AI . Please give me feedback!
