DoubleMemory started as an experiment to see if I can somehow automatically save all double cmd + c, as I often do instinctively, so I don't need extensions to save links and text into an app, and avoiding flooding the capture history as regular clipboard managers does. I quit my job last year and worked mostly on this full SwiftUI rewrite of my Japanese reading app, Manabi Reader. The rewrite gave me the opportunity to expand to macOS (and without Catalyst so it feels extra native) and redo the data layer to be offline-first via Realm with iCloud sync. I've written Mojibake because I don't like the other Unicode libraries for Unicode support. It consists of only two amalgamation files: mojibake.h and mojibake.c. I've added all the most important Unicode algorithms, such as normalization, case conversion, segmentation, bidirectional text, collation, confusable, and others.
