So a while ago I was thinking it would be neat to build a site that had the most absolute utility. The idea I came up with was a site to store those little protips that are super useful, if you know them ahead of time. I hired a guy to work on it with me, and ClueDB was born: http://cluedb.com/ Please give it a whirl (it uses Twitter auth as login but doesn't tweet anything) and tell me what you think! (Various trivia: My first try at a project coded by someone else and "product managed" by me. Runs on Flask + MongoDB. Also, this is totally unrelated to my startup.)

Preface: we love Hacker News. It's been one of the constant good things in all of our lives, and is by far our favorite place to talk with people about what we're doing. I figured it was worth doing a special post for something we've been cooking up, rather than just linking to what everyone else gets. So here it is. Hey HN, I wanted to make my life easier by using GPT products that could convert my words to raw MongoDb queries. - Uploading large datasets (50-70GB) in CSV format wasn't feasible for me. - MongoDB does have a "Generate query" feature, but it requires an Atlas subscription. My database is self-hosted. - Plus, I wanted the flexibility to use my own OpenAI API keys instead of paying extra for any GPT-based services available. So, we developed a product that tackles these challenges. It's still a work in progress, but I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.…

Atlas is an open-source deployment pipeline platform built for cloud-native applications. Atlas allows users to: - Create continuous pipelines across all their environments and clusters - Add custom tasks/tests plugins (Python scripts, K8S manifests, Argo Workflows, environment setup, etc.) - Automatically rollback applications in case of failure or degradation (Atlas watches the application past the scope of a pipeline run to ensure and enforce stability) - Use all existing Argo features Would love to hear all of your feedback and thoughts on this!
