The official Slack AI product looks great, but with limited access and add-on pricing, I decided to open-source the version I built. Especially for all the communities on Slack that would have to convert to paid and buy the upgrade to access the official SlackAI product/add-on which is not going to be financially viable in most cases. There's no plan to sell anything, just something I built as a way to learn some new tools that I thought others might get use out of. The repo is a ready-to-run slack app that provides thread summaries and channel overviews on demand using OpenAI (heavy…

It showcases an approval step so that you only provide answers you are confident giving to your users, which feels less robotic. All the building blocks are scripts that you can reuse outside of windmill and you could build this in any other workflow engines (although less conveniently). We use it for our own needs on discord [2] and thoughts this was a common need for any…

I started building a couple of years ago because I found no easy existing solution to build Slack bots that can be composed from/organized into plugins. Existing libraries like Bolt make it pretty easy to develop Slack bots, but hard to organize and scale the code base of your bot. I was also missing some crucial features such as scheduling actions for your bot. So I wrote my own framework! I recently rewrote the complete framework to make use of asyncio and the newest Slack SDK Let me know what you think!
