Hi HN! I built Routing24 to make route optimization easier and accessible for small businesses and solo drivers. With Google Maps, you can plan routes between a few locations for free, but it doesn’t support efficient multi-stop planning, handling multiple vehicles, or adding specific business rules like delivery time windows. Many tools offer route optimization for around $30 per vehicle per month, but Routing24 provides it completely free. Optimization happens fully on the client-side, using your device’s resources instead of cloud servers. The interface is simple for now: you can…

Hello HN, I made the web app that helps plan your routes/road trips. It has so many options that I don’t know how to explain in simple words :), so I’ll try like this. What is cool about it is that your routes are shareable and hackable. The routes come in the format ie. https://camptarget.com/London,Uk/Vienna,AT/Istanbul,TR/5h:6d, meaning we travel from London via Vienna to Istanbul, driving 5 hours daily while our total time budget would be 6 days. At given breakpoints (after 5 hours) we can explore the nearby locality in radius of some 30-40 miles, for…

In 2020, I started walking more and more. I was annoyed with having to constantly check my phone to see my step count and plotting a route that was sufficiently long enough. Over the next few weeks, I built Walking Route, which lets you generate a custom route of any length or quickly generate routes 5,000 steps or 10,000 steps in length. Plus, the route will always return you back to where you started from. I live in San Francisco and since it generates a new walking route every time, one of the unexpected consequences was that it helped me explore areas of the city I probably wouldn't have…

I love culture + travel, and one of my favorite pastimes is dropping into random streets on Google Street View. I just LOVE getting a tiny snippet into how people live, the architecture, and discovering hidden corners of places I'll probably never visit. I'm kinda weird like that. When AI came along, I started asking it to explain what I was looking at - and I learned a ton. I couldn't stop using this combo. So I built Streetwhip. It's kinda like reverse Geoguessr - instead of guessing where you are, you get educated about places as if you had a smart local guide with you. What used to be…
