Hi guys, We have just built Ultimategiftlists.com My girlfriend keeps asking me what I want for Christmas. I also need to buy stuff for my nephew. So I wrote a list of stuff out for my girlfriend and sent her an email of links showing her the stuff I wanted. I found that my brother did exactly the same to show me what I should get my nephews. With my friends we wanted to have a nice friendly competition (no money involved) about the football worldcup by predicting the results. I though this might interest other groups of friends so I coded a website just for that in 3 days. Nothing ground breaking but I like the suscription system "Doodle" style with just links, no personal infos... Tell me what you think !

Most people like free things, some people like games. If you like 'm both then this might be something for you! I've made a website, a Discord bot, a Twitter bot, and a bunch of scrapers that roam the web to find free games out there. Just so that they can be found in one place by other people. A friend of mine and I were talking a while back and we realized that it would be cool to run some sweepstakes on Twitter. We put up a sign up page for a while to collect some emails and we got 200 sign ups. Once we received some sign ups we got together about 2 weekends ago and we put together a web application that lets people create sweepstakes on Twitter by counting the mentions and picking winners etc. I want to get your opinion on the site before we let those 200 people know that we are ready for beta. Hey HN, I made https://linkians.com which is a game where all the action and state is contained in the url. The game involves taking care of little pets (emojis) that live in your url bar. Kind of like tamagotchi or sims. Feed them, play with them, and watch out for enemies! There's no server, just emojis in the url and client-side logic. Any linkians url using the supported emojis is a valid game state so you can save your game, or type out your own url and send it to a friend. I'd appreciate any feedback.
