I had become frustrated in not being able to read my old sheet music without counting the notes mentally. I thought there had to be an easier way to learn them, I surveyd some apps but none of them felt right to me. So I decided to build one myself and learn some music theory too. Hi HN, I've been taking guitar lessons and one thing that is recommended to most musicians is ear training - where two different notes are played and you must identify the number of steps between the notes. I've used MIDI controllers for this before, but I am travelling right now and don't have mine with me. Hi guys; Over the weekend I've created this using Claude Code. It's an ear training app destined to teach intonation and intervals to not so talented musicians like me. I spend many year playing guitar without a clear feeling on what intonation really was. It was after some string tuning exercises that it clicked for me. The freq sliding into the right place and feeling the correctness. I hope this app can helps other to feel that for the first time, or to increase the recognition of less common intervals. I have been entranced by Berlin School music for years. I love those evolving and interwoven arpeggios. Latching an arp is often my favorite way to noodle on a synth, and yes it’s because I can’t play to save my life.
