24 alternatives to my 1-week project - Moodlogger
Moodlogger is an iPhone app that lets you log your mood at any given time. The idea is to be able to share it with others and to generate statistics for users, showing how often they are [happy,angry,sad,etc.]. It was a fun exercise for me to build so I thought I'd share my (dev) experiences with you. I've often wondered whether there are any patterns or cycles to my moods so I built a simple iPhone app that occasionally pings me to ask how I'm feeling on a scale of 1 - 10. I also note down what I'm thinking or doing at that moment and automatically grab my location. I use the data to show some basic statistics on how I've been feeling on average over the past three days, past week and since I started tracking. There's also a graph of my moods over time. I'd love to get feedback on whether people would find something like this useful. I'm curious about what other things people would want…

Mood▲97Hey HN, I've had this idea stuck in my head ever since I published Year in Pixels [1]. I've been adding a little thing here and there to this app, and now it feels nice enough to share. It's very interesting what daily tracking does to one's mind. While I already have apps to track everything else like sleep, heart rate, etc., I was still missing something to track my mood. The simple act of thinking about how you feel a couple of times a day already changes things. A moment of reflection. I opted to add Astrology, Checks (habits), and other goodies. Hope you like it as much as I do. Best,…

EndurePath▲128Hi there, EndurePath has been my main project over the past few months, and I’d love to get feedback from the HN community. The main focus of this application is to improve your mood in a moment and help you to keep it as positive as it can be in your circumstances. For those reasons I’ve added simple mood tracking, tiny tasks, and to keep you engaged personal companion with AI insights. Disclaimer: it’s NOT your personal psychologist or complex application with tasks that cure your past traumas and I don’t have plans to add complex tasks, since there better alternatives that already exists.

Gradient▲6Hi HN, just launched this last night before NYE. Wanted to make something super simple for tracking how my day goes on 2026. My sister has been using this to help her with her DBT therapy, so I hope this will be helpful for people who looks to understand how their year goes. Feedbacks or feature requests are most welcome :)
