Products that do what my small open source web app written entirely in Clojure does
I've implemented a small web app — (a hassle-free hosting for markdown pages) entirely in Clojure and here is what I think: http://notehub.org/2012/6/16/how-notehub-is-built The app itself: http://notehub.org GitHub: http://github.com/chmllr/NoteHub

Hello, Motivated by this discussion https://goo.gl/te4BFv, I have created a simple (free and open-source) command line note organizer. The tool, called npmnotes, take a folder with notes (written in markdown/texdown) and creates a webpage that lets you search and browse through the notes. You can then publish this webpage or use it locally. The result (built with npmnotes) looks something like this https://npmnotes.org. Currently, this is just a (working) prototype and I plan to add more features soon (based on the feedback I get). What do you think of it?

Hey HN, Along with a handful of friends, I've been working on a note taking platform for the last couple years. We created a 2 minute pitch of our platform, if you'd prefer to read, maybe you'd want to checkout our README: https://github.com/lockbook/lockbook. If you don't want to do either of those things I'll try to summarize some of our core values: - everything end to end encrypted - open formats: markdown and svg - strong offline support - everything open source - native apps where possible - rust where possible Some other stuff we're proud of: - we have a CLI which…

So, I built this little thing over the past month or so now, I got tired of places for tickets, notes, and such being shoved front and center in apps. Thus I created Mininote to get away from the noise I wanted something simple to move out of the way completely when I don't need it but be there when I do need it It contains a slew of features built right in, but the coolest is the sites own API is also the sites own public API no split seam

Hey HN, I wrote a short book about the fundamental aspects of Clojure. The target audience is programmers with at least minimal experience who want to learn how to express solutions in Clojure (and perhaps in LISP, generally). If the price is a bit too steep for you, send me an email (address in bio), and I'll provide a discount coupon. If you can't afford it all, and believe the material may help you for studying or interview preparations, I can send you a free copy.

I made this tiny notepad website, to write things down in your browser. The Features - Just saves to your browser's localstorage (no cloud or login) - Export to TXT file - Formatting keyboard shortcuts - Works offline - Super fast The Tech - Single HTML file - 20 lines of JS + service worker (for offline usage) - Using pure CSS for modals - Github pages hosting - Basically it's just a "contenteditable div" with some extra features - Source -> https://github.com/benwinding/localnotes.page It's been done before, but I couldn't find a version I liked, that worked offline…
