Over the last two years, I developed a tournament system called Bracket. Most (if not all) tournament systems available online are paid and ask tons of money (a typical minimum subscription costs 50 euros per month, and go up to 500 euros per month or so), which is not feasible for many small sport clubs/individuals. With my friends we wanted to have a nice friendly competition (no money involved) about the football worldcup by predicting the results. I though this might interest other groups of friends so I coded a website just for that in 3 days. Nothing ground breaking but I like the suscription system "Doodle" style with just links, no personal infos... Tell me what you think !

Inspired by watching my sons coach using a carry around whiteboard, plus also starting to coach my wifes over 30s womens amateur team I wrote a mobile app for amateur football/soccer coaches. It allows you to add your players information, manage substitutions during games (who's on the field, whos on the bench) as well as drag around players into formations, draw tactics on the screen and share using the IOS share features to email, messages etc. Build your tactic and share it with the team between games. I couldn't find a nice worldcup bracket visualizer out there so ended up building one. It's nicer than the ones I saw out there. There is no login, no ads, runs client side, uses localStorage and all the state is encoded in the URL itself and you can share it. The calendar feature is nice. I wanted to build my own schedule for the games I was interested in. There is full calendar that you can subscribe to as well, that gets updated as the fixtures get decided.
