Portal▲181Hey HN, I'm Zach, founder of Portal. Portal lets you share a live sandbox browser session as a link. Try it here: https://www.makeportals.com/try Instead of asking someone to sign up, install software, or book a demo for user research, onboarding, or sales, you send a link and they interact with the real product in a sandboxed browser environment, then you get session replays. Each viewer gets a fresh remote browser instance that starts from a defined state (URL, cookies, extensions, local files, etc). Sessions are isolated and expire automatically. The sessions have…

My story: I founded this a couple of years ago because my school (I was 11/12 at the time) had recently purchased a library system which was horrible and ugly. I thought it could be made much better, so I coded for months on end to get this product working. I submitted this to a TV competition on national TV and got the opportunity to pitch this product in front of 500,000 viewers. I received a bursary of €2,000 from the show and used that money to grow the business. Currently the business is thriving and is growing rapidly. I'd really appreciate any feedback you might have. Thanks, Shane

Hey HN, maker here. It was a serious 4-6 months of effort to build this. I have never poured as much love, attention and detail into a project before. So I really appreciate you having a looksie! The homepage has a fresh list of articles every hour and is open to all. Still, I recommend signing up so you can add stuff to your reading list and follow blogs. My initial plan was to monetize this with subtle ads, but that didn't work out as the traffic to the site isn't nearly enough for that. That said, I have a fair bit invested in this and I need your help figuring out a way to make this…

ButterflAI▲17Hi HN, I’m Enric. I built ButterflAI to help e-commerce teams keep product pages fresh without doing constant shoots or manual copy updates. What it does? - Upload 1 product photo (or connect a Shopify store). - Generates a small set of product visuals (clean + lifestyle-style) and a short product video. - Updates product listing content (title/description/metafields) to improve SEO and conversion. Why I built it? I kept seeing teams stuck between "expensive shoots" and "stale pages". I wanted a workflow that’s fast, consistent with brand guidelines, and usable for real stores (not…

Hey there HN! So for the last few weeks I decided I wanted to learn more about selling on Amazon and FBA - so I did what any normal hacker would do. I bought a website - https://www.chargeduck.com - Wrote some funny copy (Well I think its funny, but I suppose thats subjective) and then I went a step further. I called up suppliers, had samples made, designed packaging and even through some of that cheeky copy on the box. As I've been talking to people over the last week or two - especially other entrepreneurs its become apparent that this is a world a lot of people don't understand…
