Hey HN, TL;DR: We’ve launched a free version of our Shadow IT scanner to identify which SaaS apps are used in your company, who uses them, and if they have high-risk OAuth scopes. Philip and I went through YC with AccessOwl in 2022. We started the company because, in our previous roles, we struggled to track all the SaaS apps, users, and granted OAuth scopes. The Shadow IT scanner started as a small feature within AccessOwl, which manages SaaS vendors and user accounts centrally. But a standalone scanner would have made our lives so much easier in our previous roles. So, we thought, why not…

Hi HN! We’re building an open-source pricing & packaging engine for SaaS with a built-in billing system. (https://github.com/uselotus/lotus). We strongly believe pricing is the largest untapped growth lever for SaaS, primarily because pricing affects so many critical systems that don’t talk to each other (billing, payments, feature limits, metering, and CRM). Hey HN, Nir, Gal and Tomer here. Last week, we open-sourced Enrolla (https://github.com/enrolla/enrolla) - feature management for SaaS companies. It makes it easy for developers to control how their product behaves for customers in different pricing tiers. So things like which features are enabled for whom, rate limits and seat limits, but also your customer secrets (with end-to-end encryption), and other configurations. After 15 years of working together at various companies, where we rebuilt the same SaaS foundation layer again and again - we wanted to create something…

If you've built any web-based app in the last 15 years, you probably used something like Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, etc. to monitor and trace your app, right? Why should it be different when the app you're building happens to be using LLMs? So today we're open-sourcing OpenLLMetry-JS. It's an open protocol and SDK, based on OpenTelemetry, that provides traces and metrics for LLM JS/TS applications and can be connected to any of the 15+ tools that already support OpenTelemetry. Here's the repo: https://github.com/traceloop/openllmetry-js A few months ago we launched…
