Hey everyone, DNDGenerate is my little adventure into the world of AI and D&D. I wanted to learn more about using ChatGpt to build software and about the openai apis. When I saw how much fun my 9-year-old was having, creating his own D&D worlds. That got me thinking – why not make a tool that uses ChatGPT to help build cool D&D campaigns? It's been a blast mixing my love for tech and D&D. I showed this at our latest dnd game, and my fellow party members seemed to like the results, so I thought I'd share it here as well.

Hey everyone, I built this project because I always wanted to try playing D&D but couldn’t find a group of friends or a DM to play with. It’s still early stages and not meant to be a complete replacement for real DMs or IRL sessions, but it’s a good way to dip your toes into DnD or to play on your phone between your IRL sessions. I recently embarked on a creative experiment where I used ChatGPT to craft an elaborate steampunk story. Inspired by the rich narrative and intricate details, I decided to transform various parts of the story into demo tables, complete with text and images using https://tabulator.ai/.
