We built this as a bit of fun but it's been getting some great responses on Twitter

Hi, I spent the last couple of months developing OurClubFundraiser(http://www.ourclubfundraiser.com) and launched it about two weeks ago.I would love to get some feedback from the HN community on how I could improve the site and tweak the concept. Since launching I have found that: 1) I am not getting enough visits(Average around 5 a day) 2) Any of the visits I do get are not converting. I am working on 1) and will hopefully be able to dramatically increase the number of visits over the next few weeks. I could really do with some third party perspectives on point 2. 1)Is the concept not…

I needed to get out of localhost:3000 land and ship a (somewhat functional) web app. Anyways, I built Current Ride as a place to put your bucket list items out in the open. The goal is really to inspire the community to do more things! Building the app helped me understand Rails a lot better and allowed me to hack-break-fix bugs/features more effectively :) Enjoy! http://www.currentride.com

This is a side project that I have been hacking on for the last two months. It started out as trying to find a better way to see my girlfriend, as we go to universities in separate cities. The backend is built with Ruby on Rails. Some of the frontend interaction is Javascript. Any feedback would be very well appreciated.

Originally a spreadsheet on his website, I transformed into something more usable and easier to navigate. Let me know what y'all think

Before I tell you what we're trying to do, please take a look and see if you can figure it out for yourself -- after all, that's what our public website is for isn't it? http://salesathand.com/ (Why isn't this becoming a link?) Okay, back? If you didn't get it from our website we are doing mobile point of sale and electronic menus for restaurants, cafes, vendors, and retailers. We have the prototype done and we have some initial customers that are really interested in what we're doing but we want to try to bring more people on board and generate that elusive buzz with our public website. We…

Hey HN! I’m excited to introduce Companero, my open-source ridesharing solution! As a traveler, I often struggled to find rides in smaller cities. So I built Companero on Telegram using pure Java 21 and MongoDB. I recently added a rating system to this app to make rides safer, but all in all, you can request a ride using your location, can see recommended trip price based on your country (it has an index for each country and a currency converter) and much more features. I’d love your feedback and any questions are welcome! Thanks!
