I figured I needed to work on my coding skills before building the next groundbreaking AI app, so I started working on this free tool site. Its basically just an aggregation of various commonly used calculators and unit convertors. Link: https://www.calcverse.live Tech Stack: Next, React, Typescript, shadcn UI, Tailwind CSS Would greatly appreciate your feedback on the UI/UX and accessibilty. I struggled the most with navigation. I've added a search box, a sidebar, breadcrumbs and pages with grids of cards leading to the respective calculator or unit convertor, but not sure if…

Hi HN, YC w24 company here. We just pivoted from drone delivery to build gpudeploy.com, a website that routes on-demand traffic for GPU instances to idle compute resources. The experience is similar to lambda labs, which we’ve really enjoyed for training our robotics models, but their GPUs are never available for on-demand. We are also trying to make it more no-nonsense (no hidden fees, no H100 behind “contact sales”, etc.). The tech to make this work is actually kind of nifty, we may do an in-depth HN post on that soon. Right now, we have H100s, a few RTX 4090s and a GTX 1080 Ti online.…

Hello HN! I’m Jonathan from TensorDock. After 7 months in beta, we’re finally launching Core Cloud, our platform to deploy GPU virtual machines in as little as 45 seconds! https://www.tensordock.com/product-core Why? Training machine learning workloads at large clouds can be extremely expensive. This left us wondering, “how did cloud ever become more expensive than on-prem?” I’ve seen too many ML startups buy their own hardware. Cheaper dedicated servers with NVIDIA GPUs are not too hard to find, but they lack the functionality and scalability of the big clouds. We thought to…

Hi HN, I'm Paul from Tensordyne. We build AI inference systems and chips on logarithmic math. We've put together an interactive Token Economics Calculator to help make apples-to-apples comparisons of inference hardware across vendors: We're interested in how closely it lines up with the community's view of the market. Why we built this Investors and customers kept asking how our system compares to others (NVIDIA and a growing list of startups). Plenty of publicly available data exists, but it's scattered and inconsistent. News articles, provider sites, Artificial Analysis, MLCommons, and now…

Hi, This is Dan and Genevieve from Burstable AI. We've iterated and made a 45 degree pivot, taking what we learned from developing burst (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28191459) to introduce a cloud service that provides access to a GPU-enabled machine using Jupyterlab to provide notebooks, shell access, and a code/text editor. GPU access is measured and the first 50 hours are free. This is *not* a platform to do crypto mining or run weeks of model training for free. We are focused on the R & D phase of modern AI/ML, where developers/scientists are…

I built an unofficial CLI and MCP server for Lambda cloud GPU instances. The main idea: your AI agents can now spin up and manage Lambda GPUs for you. The MCP server exposes tools to find, launch, and terminate instances. Add it to Claude Code, Cursor, or any agent with one command and you can say things like "launch an H100, ssh in, and run big_job.py" Other features: - Notifications via Slack, Discord, or Telegram when instances are SSH-ready - 1Password support for API keys - Also includes a standalone CLI with the same functionality Written in Rust. MIT licensed. Note: This is an…

Hi HN community, Shen and I created a service for anyone to easily train deep learning model on GPU power harnessed from the crowd. We have completed the first version DeepCluster.io (http://deepcluster.io) and welcome ML researchers to try it out for free! We are enthusiastic of deep learning, but often found training models with GPU instances on AWS very expensive. Meanwhile, some of our friends have idle GPUs that are used to mine cryptos. So we decided to borrow their GPUs for training deep learning model ourselves, and believe this could be a service that benefits other ML…

Hi everyone, Please checkout compute.cx which is a simple cli interface for using on demand GPUs from RunPod and HotAisle. I created this because I really like the ease of modal.com for severless gpu access, but don’t always want to pay their markup. Compute.cx gives the same DX but on public on-demand GPUs like runpod and hotaisie. Please try it out, and write to me [email protected] for any questions/suggestions, or file a bug report on https://github.com/theoriclabs/docs.compute.cx Thanks! Harsh Gupta https://x.com/hargup13 P.S. BYOK AWS, GCP and…
