We have created a computer vision and smartphone based audience polling solution that promises all the benefits of clicker devices at minimal cost and that too without the students requiring any electronic devices. Use of continuous feedback systems like clicker devices is proven to improve learning outcomes in classrooms and such devices are widely used in Universities. BUT such devices are costly and hence cannot be used in mid-low income setups. Also, carrying devices in bulk is a problem. This is a little toy project of mine that lets you simulate digital logic graphs. It was inspired by Minecraft's Redstone and the Piet esolang. It's got some serious drawbacks-- you write circuits as PNGs and simulate them with a Python interface. It's slow to run and slow to experiment with. And it is certainly difficult to use for people with any kind of color blindness. But despite that, I hope this can still be a fun toy!
