Hello HN! We're a small team in Kyoto building a website called dédédé (https://dedede.de/en) that invites people to share the various positives, negatives, oddities, etc. they find in urban spaces. The project grew out of an earlier effort where we'd built an app that assisted participatory urbanism workshops run by local nonprofits. With the new platform, we're trying to build something similar but more casual and hopefully with broader appeal, that'll be fun to use even outside of formal workshop situations. We'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hi, HN, I'm Roshan and I'm part of the team that's launching the Placekey today at https://placekey.io. It is a free and open universal standard identifier we built so that data pertaining to places can be shared across organizations easily. A Placekey is a short identifier that has Address and POI sections detailing What is at a place and a section describing Where on the globe the place is. http://impromptudo.com is a small project I've been working on. Just a webapp for now but I think it qualifies as an MVP. Also has a mobile version at the same url or http://m.impromptudo.com. Right now it pulls in data from meetup.com for upcoming meetups in several populous cities so it's not just an empty map. You can also click on the map to put up your own post. Trying to stay away from making it all social networky, there are plenty of those already.<p>Finally, I'm not a designer, as you can see.
