Text converters, SEO checks, video downloaders, that kind of stuff. No signups, no ads. If there is a tool you wish existed, you can request it on the site and I will build it. Do your worst. I love Streamlit but have run into many situation where taking it from PoC to MVP state is insurmountable. With all the recent HN hype around htmx and sematic html / classless css I decided to build a Streamlit alternative using these on top of FastAPI. This has a couple advantages: 1) easier to extend when you move past PoC since the FastAPI app is exposed (allowing adding more routes) and hstream acts more like a typical web stack 2) with htmx and html (plus MVP.css) doing the heavy lifting the package is alot less complex and easier to reason about - and hopefully more performant…

Hello everyone! My friend Ori Kabeli and I have been playing around with GPT-4 Vision as a way to control websites and complete complicated tasks online. We created a small proof of concept python package called pywebagent. pywebagent allows performing high level tasks in websites, accessible to developers as simple python functions. I found the manual process of downloading various YouTube assets painful so built a simple app to help myself and hopefully others. I’ve been working on Pyra for the past few months and wanted to start sharing it in public. Right now it’s focused on the core package/project management workflow: Python installs, init, add/remove, lockfiles, env sync, and running commands in the managed env.
