Hey HN, We’re two developers (co-founders) with a team of 20 who got tired of spending hours reviewing PRs, so we built Infinitcode.ai, an AI-powered code reviewer that: - *Summarizes PRs in plain English*: No more deciphering 1,000-line diff jungles - *Catches more than bugs*: Security holes, performance pitfalls, code smells, even typos (yes, we’ll flag “vurnerabilities” and vulnerabilities) - *Zero onboarding*: Works instantly—no “let me learn your codebase for weeks” nonsense. Why we’re posting: We’re in alpha and need brutal honesty. Roast our tool, mock our UI, or tell us why AI will…

I've been using Claude Code heavily, and kept hitting the same issue: the agent would push changes, respond to reviews, wait for CI... but never really know when it was done. It would poll CI in loops. Miss actionable comments buried among 15 CodeRabbit suggestions. Or declare victory while threads were still unresolved. The core problem: no deterministic way for an agent to know a PR is ready to merge. So I built gtg (Good To Go). One command, one answer: $ gtg 123 OK PR #123: READY CI: success (5/5 passed) Threads: 3/3 resolved It aggregates CI status, classifies review comments…

Built this after a recurring frustration at our agency: the team would agree on something in Slack ("only admins can export users"), someone would open a PR two weeks later that quietly broke it, and nobody caught it until QA or after deploy. Mo watches a Slack channel for decisions. When someone tags @mo to approve something, it stores it. When a PR opens, Mo checks the diff against the approved decisions and flags conflicts before merge. It doesn't review code quality. It only cares whether the code matches what the team actually agreed to. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's…

Like many devs, we lived in Slack hell—random notifications, chaotic threads and PRs always getting missed! We tried everything: Slack bots, GitHub settings, follow-up msgs—nothing worked. So we built PullNotifier. PullNotifier ensures that every PR gets the attention it deserves. It makes sure the right people see them at the right time—without spamming everyone (so you don't have to send those awkward PR request msgs). What makes it different? One notification per PR: No more drowning in redundant messages. Smart routing: PRs go only to the relevant channels or reviewers. Instant…

Figured I'd track the popular coding agents to see merge and approval rates. At first I was tracking Opened vs. Approved, but realized most people aren't approving; they just merge. I haven't found a way to reliably track the other agents (Jules, Devin, etc), since they don't have a standardized branch naming convention. Interesting to watch this over time. Open to ideas.

I'm a CTO with a ~16-person engineering team. Last year I wanted real data on what was actually shipping, not guesswork or story point theater. So we built GitVelocity. Every merged PR gets scored 0–100 by Claude across six dimensions: scope (0–20), architecture (0–20), implementation (0–20), risk (0–20), quality (0–15), perf/security (0–5). Six dimensions added up, then scaled by change size — a 10-line fix scores lower than a 500-line refactor even at the same complexity. Full formula at gitvelocity.dev/scoring-guide. After scoring 50,000+ PRs across TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go,…

A few weeks ago I posted about GoodToGo https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46656759 - a tool that gives AI agents a deterministic answer to "is this PR ready to merge?" Several people asked about the larger orchestration system I mentioned. This is that system. I got tired of being a project manager for Claude Code. It writes code fine, but shipping production code is seven or eight jobs — research, planning, design review, implementation, code review, security audit, PR creation, CI babysitting. I was doing all the coordination myself. The agent typed fast. I was still the…
