Tamper-evident audit logs for AI agent decisions

EU legislation (which affects UK and US companies in many cases) requires being able to truly reconstruct agentic events. I've worked in a number of regulated industries off & on for years, and recently hit this gap. We already had strong observability, but if someone asked me to prove exactly what happened for a specific AI decision X months ago (and demonstrate that the log trail had not been altered), I could not. The EU AI Act has already entered force, and its Article 12 kicks-in in August this year, requiring automatic event recording and six-month retention for high-risk systems,…

I started using Claude Code (claude --dangerously-skip-permissions) and Codex (codex --yolo) and realized I had no reliable way to know what they actually did. The agent's own output tells you a story, but it's the agent's story. logira records exec, file, and network events at the OS level via eBPF, scoped per run. Events are saved locally in JSONL and SQLite. It ships with default detection rules for credential access, persistence changes, suspicious exec patterns, and more. Observe-only – it never blocks. https://github.com/melonattacker/logira

This is a small PoC Python project for web server access logs analyzing to classify and dynamically block bad bots, such as L7 (application-level) DDoS bots, web scrappers and so on. We'll be happy to gather initial feedback on usability and features, especialy from people having good or bad experience wit bots. *Requirements* The analyzer relies on 3 Tempesta FW specific features which you still can get with other HTTP servers or accelerators: 1. JA5 client fingerprinting (https://tempesta-tech.com/knowledge-base/Traffic-Filtering-b...). This is a HTTP and TLS layers…

On March 4, 2026, my Claude Code agent wrote a staging URL into a production config file — three times, 41 minutes apart. Syntax was valid, no error thrown. My logs showed every action. All green. The problem was invisible because nothing had recorded what the agent intended to do before it acted — only what it actually did. K9 Audit fixes this with a causal five-tuple per agent step: - X_t: context (who acted, under what conditions) - U_t: action (what was executed) - Y*_t: intent contract (what it was supposed to do) - Y_t+1: actual outcome - R_t+1: deviation score (deterministic — no LLM,…
