Products that do what PyInpaint, a lightweight image inpainting tool written in Python does
- A simple and effective tool to remove scratches, bruises and small holes on images. - Basically it does the job by doing Dirichlet interpolation on a non-local graph created using images. - Could be easy integrated at the backend for fask or django projects related to image processing.

pypipe is a command-line tool for writing data pipelines in Python. When working with data processing in the terminal, I often find myself wanting to pass the output of commands to Python for further processing. In such cases, one can either write one-liners or create regular Python scripts and connect them through pipes. However, using pypipe makes this process more convenient and efficient.

Hi HN - this is a little side project I threw together. Some implementation details: image processing is all done with headless GIMP (running inside a Docker container) through its built-in Python API. It's _very_ slow (about 50 seconds/image), and currently it processes exactly one image at a time. The website is built with NextJS; payments are processed by Stripe. I've had the best results with pictures of houses, although certain photos of people or nature can look neat, too. (For example: https://brushify.art/s/ruYmQWk, original photo from…

Hey all, You've probably seen projects that add objects to an image from a style or text prompt, like InteriorAI (levelsio) and Adobe Firefly. The prevalent issue with these diffusion-based inpainting approaches is that they don't yet have great conditioning on lighting, perspective, and structure. You'll often get incorrect or generic shadows; warped-looking objects; and distorted backgrounds. What is Fill 3D? Fill 3D is an exploration on doing generative fill in 3D to render ultra-realistic results that harmonize with the background image, using industry-standard path tracing, akin to…

Hello HN, I'm Fares A. Bakhit a junior CS student at Cairo University and I'm happy to announce my latest project, "Ayin" is an open-source photo editing software available on Windows, Linux, and MacOS (Only a Windows build is available now on GitHub but you can compile it yourself to other platforms) with an interactive real-time graphical user interface. Feel free to use and study the source code of Ayin, it's available on GitHub under the GPLv3 open-source license. I've made this project in part of the Winged Dragon Competition at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence…

I was frustrated with laggy notebook stable diffusion demos. Plus they usually didn't have all the features I wanted (for example some of them only had inpainting and some only had img2img, so if I wanted both I had to repeatedly copy images between notebooks). So I made this desktop frontend which has much smoother performance than notebook alternatives and integrates image generation, inpainting and img2img into the same workflow. See a video demo here: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/6392321/191858568-... Features include: * Can run locally or connect to a…
