I keep needing a way to run long-running resource intensive tasks after one another. Normally, I'd write a script which loops over the items, but not knowing what needs to run (I pick files as I go through a folder), I knew it's time I create something to scratch my own itch. So, I've created this utility to queue up commands. It captures command, args, env and working directory and puts it in a queue, and runs it when it's time.     This tiny command line tool was created mainly because I have several apps that I run on my server and finding the right set of commands for deploying an app is a hassle. So this basically documents the set of commands for each of my projects, as well as gives me quick access to them. Just wanted to share it here in case anyone else might find it useful.

    https://github.com/integrii/serve I got tired of the huge list of static asset server options out there. Python's built in one, various ruby gems, piles of npm commands... So naturally I added another (the best!) one. It is written in go, so that helps portability, speed. It's name is just 'serve'. No options or flags are required for invoking. It looks pretty. It supports hitting Command/Control-c gracefully. Hopefully this is useful to some people. Feedback welcome! Thanks!

    At work we were using python-rq for background tasks. It does the job for simple things, but we kept bumping into limitations. We needed to schedule tasks hours / days out and trust they'd survive a restart. We wanted periodic tasks with proper overlap control.     There are plenty of good tools for load testing such as JMeter, Minigun, and plenty more - but they all have their own set of options to learn. I built this one to support a simpler workflow where you just paste your curl request (or other cli command) after your `spam` config (literally just `spam -r 2 -- curl www.google.com).
