Deluge of marketing emails got you down? Last weekend I got fed up with all clicking the “unsubscribe” button on all the newsletters in my Gmail inbox, so I went looking for a way to automate it. I found some scammy apps like unroll-dot-me that sell your info and barely work. I also found a free Google Sheet script from 2017, but it crashed on the first message in my inbox. So, I rewrote it – and now it (seems to) work great!

So I just did my semi-annual "log in to Twitter to see if it's any good yet", and found that in my absence I had followed a few thousand new spam accounts. Sweet. That explains why they emailed me and forced me to change my password last year. Being Awesome, Twitter doesn't have any way to simply toss out all your followers and start from scratch.
