hi friends! i'm pretty tired of engagement bait and all the political nonsense on my x/twitter feed. i was curious if i could use an llm to filter out these type of content, so i prototyped a quick chrome extension. it uses LLama 3.3 to analyze the tweet through https://groq.com/ (because they are super-super fast). the extension is available in the chrome store, also there is a link to the repo. - you can tweak the system prompt for the filtering - but you need your own API key from Groq (you can get one for free)

We built a Chrome extension and iOS app that filters Twitter's feed using Qwen3.5-4B for contextual matching. You describe what you don't want in plain language—it removes posts that match semantically, not by keyword. What surprised us was that because Twitter's ranking algorithm adapts based on what you engage with, consistent filtering starts reshaping the recommendations over time. You're implicitly signaling preferences to the algorithm. For some of us it "healed" our feed. Currently running inference from our own servers with an experimental on-device option, and we're working on fully…

Recently there were some changes to the Twitter algorithm and one of the most important ones was boosting video content even more in the feed, which got me thinking: "Why shouldn't we benefit from the algo changes and get a boost every time we are sharing some visuals?" So I spent the weekend building a tool that: - Turns your images into videos - Has 30 beautiful animated gradients that we can pick from - Is completely FREE I'd love to know your thoughts about it!

Whether it is a designer ultra-tweeting about some conference she is at or a venture capitalist intensely describing his pursuit of the always-elusive "inbox zero", sometimes you just want to mute someone you follow on Twitter. This extensions allows you to do just that. You can easily put accounts that you follow in the penalty box, where they will be silenced and feel shame. When you have deemed their sins absolved, you can let them out, free to fill your Twitter stream again. Download: http://bit.ly/u1giXH Read About: http://bit.ly/tdqX6y Source: http://bit.ly/tmxvf1

I'm currently traveling the world and I was tired of having to download 2MB+ of data to open any link on Twitter and wait 10+ seconds for it to load. Data is expensive abroad and I don't have LTE everywhere. So I built a Twitter bot @NativeArticle that automatically tweets screenshots of the mobile version of a url. Images load much faster on Twitter than opening the original page. And it only takes a fraction of the data needed (about 65-80KB per screenshot). The only issue is that you can't select text because those are images. Source is available on…

I got tired of the cognitive dissonance involved in reading twitter -- topics kept jumping around. So, i wrote a thingy. Features: - filter by user, list, or regex - each group you filter to has its own "mark as complete" button (so you don't have to read everything in one sitting, but can still be a completionist eventually). - tries to do inline images with a lightbox - tries to be compact - first time users, can have it auto-gen a config fore you - config is a multi-line text block so super-powerful but not UX friendly Drawbacks: - does save your configuration in a db in the cloud so not…
