Source https://github.com/dashborg/hibiki | Interactive Tutorial https://playground.hibikihtml.com/tutorial/ I love JavaScript, but for many projects -- especially internal tools and prototypes -- setting up a full frontend JavaScript stack (npm, webpack, babel, create-react-app, redux) and all of their configuration files, folders, and scaffolding is overkill. Hibiki HTML incrementally plugs into any backend, using any template language (even static HTML files) with a single script include. It includes a built-in frontend data model, Vue.js-like…

Hello there! The idea behind this CLI tool is to use it for short-term reminders, e.g. to remind you (via OS-specific notifications) to do something in 2 hours or in 10 minutes. The app is supposed to be cross-platform compatible. Still, I have limited access to platforms, so it was tested only on MacOS, Ubuntu (via VirtualBox), Fedora (via VirtualBox) and Windows 10 Home. I'd appreciate any feedback on how it works on these and other OS-es. Also, I have never tested it outside my time zone (GMT+2), so it would be nice to hear from folks from other parts of the world. Any feedback, comments,…

I got the idea of [mindmap.so](http://mindmap.so/) out of my own frustration of managing my personal notes in Notion and Miro in parallel. I have built it 3 months back on top of excalidraw, posted it in Reddit a couple of times, and never looked back (was using it only for personal use). Little did I know that the small and nimble tool that I created has crossed 2000+ users (was so surprised when I saw the dashboard last week). It was all organic and word of mouth . Having 2000+ users trusting a product is no easy feat. That’s when I thought may be I should put some more…

Announcing: ADAPT Framework ALPHA release and demo ADAPT Framework is a developer toolkit for replacing a centralized web back end with a decentralized mesh of interconnected data nodes. ADAPT is an easy way to build non-custodial internet applications for document sharing, messaging, credential management, medical data sharing, and other similar use cases. ADAPT enables developers to create data nodes that work identically on the front end and server side. All business logic that was traditionally placed into the back-end of an application can now be implemented by defining the behavior of…

Hi HF, I'm Terrell, and we built an open-source app that lets developers create their own Operator with a Next.js/React front-end and a flask back-end. The purpose is to simplify spinning up virtual desktops (Xfce, VNC) and automate desktop-based interactions using computer use models like OpenAI’s There are already various cool tools out there that allow you to build your own operator-like experience but they usually only automate web browser actions, or aren’t open sourced/cost a lot to get started. Spongecake allows you to automate desktop-based interactions, and is fully open…
