I’ve been in the MLOps space for ~10 years, and data is still the hardest unsolved open problem. Code is versioned using Git, data is stored somewhere else, and context often lives in a 3rd location like Slack or GDocs. This is why we built XetHub, a platform that enables teams to treat data like code, using Git. Unlike Git LFS, we don’t just store the files. I'm continuing to improve my RunsOn tool for launching self-hosted runners for GitHub Action on AWS, this time with support for any GPU-enabled instance type from EC2, and using the official Deep Learning AMIs as the runner image. Hey HN, I’m Surya and I’m super excited to show you WarpBuild’s new MacOS runners for Github Actions! The MacOS runners are powered by M2 Pros with 6vcpu and 14GB memory. On paper, this is comparable to the M1 powered macos-latest-xlarge runners by Github but are 25% faster and 50% cheaper, with the same tools pre-installed.
