Inspired by the following post by photon_off... http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1683309 I made karmurl last night. It's a simple app where you submit a URL for feedback, then for every piece of feedback you give to someone else's, you get to read one piece of feedback for yours. http://karmurl.com

Hi all, I created a public dashboard for searching / chatting with "What are you working on?" posts. I'd love to hear any feedback that you have.

We got tired of not being able to accurately answer "When will this be done?" and "Will anyone be required to work overtime on the current schedule?", or spending too much time in meetings and standups trying to answer those questions. Just opened up for beta. Would love some opinionated developers to guide future improvements (or feedback on the general idea).

Hello everyone, A couple of months ago I was introduced to Excalidraw and fell in love with it instantly. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't easily save my whiteboards and had to put everything in one whiteboard which started to lag my PC after a while. So I made ExcaliHub. It's exactly as it sounds: a hub for Excalidraw. It's free, open source, and I aim to keep it that way. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

A little over a month ago, I asked HN what I should do as my final C# project last semester: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8062174 The one comment I got was good, but I decided to take the easy path because I couldn't get Crystal Reports to play right with an Access database and InstallShield, and time was running out, so I opted for a project manager instead. Since I said I would show it to HN (even though almost no one noticed the thread) ... here it is. It's rudimentary and i'm in the process of rewriting it completely because despite its simplicity I do kind of like…

Just wanted to make my first post about something interesting I've been working on for some time. Any ideas/suggestions for new hardware or software I should try out are welcome, though I will only have time for a major overhaul in a month or two where I want to redo and document everything a bit better than how it is currently. Hope this can inspire someone to start their own homelab or give some ideas to already existing ones!

I kept seeing people making macOS apps for their one-off use cases and automations. I thought surely the hassle of paying for an Apple dev account and fighting with code signing and notarization would be a deterrent for most people. Viberunner is a container environment that lets you build macOS apps with simple prompts. You can run the apps in a new tab, a new window, or even as a system menu bar app. You can create things like: - a clipboard manager - an image redactor - a note-taking tool that saves a daily note to a folder on your desktop - a desktop organizer that cleans up your…

I'm documenting everything about my process. From learning to code, to building the app, and all the way to my outreach efforts. I'm learning as I go and sharing it with everyone who's not a programer, and is daunted to build a software on their own. Trust me. If I can do it, anyone can! You can find my updates on: https://Claritask.com ...as well as video updates on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdmqmifW4kIcPclXigay1dQ Would love to hear your feedback on my progress and if you have any suggestions on what I can do better. There's so many task managers out…
