Hey HN! I'm excited to share Statusnook - a status page and monitoring tool. I built Statusnook for my own projects, but I soon began incorporating bits of feedback from friends & colleagues. My goal was to create a tool with a solid essential feature set, and to make it easy to self-host. I welcome any feedback or suggestions.

I started a newsletter sending out daily startup ideas. After a year, I transitioned to weekly ideas with more in-depth details. I recently posted all of them to the website and made them searchable. Hi HN , my partner and I were looking for easier answers to our weekend planning ritual, such as: - When is our next free weekend? - What weekend activities have we got planned? - How busy/available are we to travel / host? Especially at the start of each year, when we're trying to plan flights and/or commit to hosting friends & family visits, I struggled to find a usable overview of multiple months that wasn't cluttered with weekdays. Our social events are overwhelmingly centered around weekends and we wanted a view of the year ahead that reflected that. How about just a line…

Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. Absolutely no ulterior motive here (ie. I'm not canvassing opinions for a productivity app startup or anything), just interested.
