Products that do what Scribble is a simple, no BS blog-writing subscription for busy startups does

Hey guys! About 6 months ago we launched the first version of Scribble on Hacker News & Product Hunt. Scribble (https://hiscribble.com) is a simple, no BS blog-writing subscription for startups, small businesses, and indie makers. Since launching our 1.0 we’ve learned a lot about how to run a service like this, and today we’re launching a huge revamp: We’ve about doubled the amount of writers on the team (all native English-speaking, all based in the USA) We’ve optimized our pricing & ops models to make us the most affordable premium writing service available (without outsourcing…

I've been working on and off on a Chrome Extension for Hacker News, the extension focusses on improved usability rather than design. I can almost guarantee that after a day you won't want to go back to regular Hacker News. Give it a try, features include: - Improved readability - Quick inline replies from comments page - Quick profiles with social network info when hovering over usernames - Filtering of stories based on terms and phrases / domain or user - Endless scrolling - Collapsible comment threads - Social sharing for Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Buffer Forks, improvements and comments…

Friends, Romans, HNers! Link: http://hackerbyte.com This is my first “weekend project” and it was really fun doing it. The sleepless weekends nights when all my friends were our partying or something we (me and two friends) were busy creating ‘hackerByte’ - a weekly newsletter to share inspiration with start-up people. Nothing fancy - just we’d like to share some really nice stuff we read and some news with you, every week. We know that newsletters like these already exist so why one more? Because we are not really satisfied with what they are doing and here is our version of the wheel. We…

It seems like there isn't a week that goes by where there isn't a post on Hacker News asking "where can I find coverage for my startup?" So, I decided to make something to finally help address part of this problem. I'm happy to announce the launch of StartShout (http://startshout.com) today - a new way to find sources of coverage for your news about events, startup launches, new features, or other announcements. StartShout is both a directory of content publishers and a pitch writing service. I made StartShout because I want to help hackers get their projects noticed, but I think it could be…

Hello! I built a web-app called JungleReader that lets you follow RSS, Mastodon, YouTube, Reddit, and random blogs, all in one place. I made JungleReader as a central place to follow the blogs and sites I like, which I otherwise often lose track of. My next project (which is WIP) is a web-app called JungleWriter where you can build a simple blog and export it for hosting. I love finding a good, free-standing blog, and hope to make it easier for people to read and write them. Feedback is appreciated, thanks :)
