Hi, A few months ago, I shared a tool I built for personal use to easily trace HTTP client requests in any Python app. It links requests to the corresponding Python code and comes with a nice UI. By easily, I mean: no external dependencies, no setup, no superuser rights, and no code modifications — just do "pip install httpdbg" and then launch your code using the "pyhttpdbg" command. Sharing an internal tool that accelerated my development work 10-fold, especially with API debugging. Thought fellow developers here might find it useful. As a developer, I often have trouble reproducing errors at the client end. https://intercept.rest lets me debug and monitor API requests and responses. Hi there HN! I wanted to show you a weekend project I put together. Pingquick (https://www.pingquick.dev/) is a way to create APIs from your python functions. Just write/paste the function in, and it'll give you an endpoint to POST to. I made Pingquick because I just couldn't stand having to deal with deployment for some simple python functions. Hi! I’ve always wanted a simple way to throw my Python projects online. Just to try things out, share them, or test a webhook with a real endpoint. I built an open-source desktop app for running and monitoring Python agents that talk over TCP. It works on macOS, Linux, and Windows. The basic idea is simple: if a repo has an `agent.py` entrypoint, the app can import it from GitHub, install `requirements.txt` if needed, connect it to a TCP server, and show what it is doing in one UI. This is a little project I've been working on for a while in order to better learn Python. Although IRC may not exactly be the most exciting medium, I still find it to be fun and useful, this interest lead me to writing a bot. In doing this I realized that what would actually be more interesting would be if I had a framework. I had an idea a couple days ago and I went with it. Basically, the idea was to create an IRC channel to help people find jobs; computer related jobs, in particular.
