Products that do what Selling a web app, Auto Swatch does
Unfortunately, I have a failed startup that needs to pay off some of its debts. Myself and a few others have over a combined 300 hours of work into this project. I'm hesitant to put this on Flippa or eBay or whatever; I just don't think that crowd will appreciate it. I'm looking for suggestions on where to try and sell it (other than HN). We just launched www.styckyd.com, a marketplace for automotive enthusiasts to buy and sell parts. We're trying to tackle a number of problems that users experience when trying to buy and sell parts on automotive forums or on eBay Motors. Search, and shipping come to mind. I made a site to sell the husk of your stupid startup/project/whatever that you stopped working on for some reason. The idea is that you may have worked on some projects, wrote code, bought a domain, got customers even; and then life happened and you quietly abandoned your thing and now it's just collecting dust. This is a combination of Show/Ask HN. I've been working on my side project, BitHub.com, for several years now. The issue is that on the revenue side there’s a big fat zero and I'm kinda lost to where to go from here. I'd love to keep the project going, but it obviously needs a new perspective and some novel ideas. Created this app because nothing like it existed. I've always wanted to be able to sort products from my favorite online stores by how much each product had dropped in price.
