Hey there! Signals is a survey system that collects feedback from staff (mostly) but also clients and stakeholders in a business. It does this via SMS on a weekly schedule (the cadence can be changed but it works best when done weekly). My co-founder and I started working on this nearly a year ago, having run similar small builds for over four years. This time we’ve tried to do it properly. The execution is relatively simple - similar to an eNPS (Net Promoter Score - a common way of measuring how consumers like your product or service), but we wanted a way to anonymously pass candid feedback…

Ah, there's a dumb easy hack to figure out what ideas people will pay for. Search "I'd pay for" on Twitter and you'll find hundreds of posts from people talking about pain points and products they'd pay for to solve them. Do this enough and you realize you have to filter through a lot of slop. slop. slop. I created willpayforthis.com to accumulate high signal, high quality posts and save you some time. I love thoughts from the community on how I can make it better, save you time, and help you work on the best ideas.

These posts are from the last 48 hours, updated in real-time, and uniquely…

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.
