I've been presenting at local meetups about Context Engineering, RAG, Skills, etc.. I even have a vbrownbag coming up on LinkedIn about this topic so I figured I would make a basic example that uses bedrock so I can use it in my talks or vbrownbags. Hopefully it's useful.

I work as an engineer at the Dutch government. We have hundreds of technical standards that developers should follow when building government software: API design rules, messaging protocols, authentication profiles, accessibility requirements. The problem is that most developers don't know these standards exist until someone reviews their code (if at all). Skills are Markdown files that inject domain knowledge into AI coding tools. I come from a machine learning background - PyTorch code, leaving a training job running overnight, and Jupyter Notebooks. I hadn't touched much frontend before diving deep into start-ups.
