I finished building Codr.cc last night. Codr is a code snippets sharing website much like pastie or snipt.org, but with a few innovations. First is that it autodetects the language and highlights it accordingly. The second, killer feature, is that it allows you to create snippets from files on your computer. Attached is my attempt at making a small toy S3 client without any other dependency besides libcurl and OpenSSL. Was tested mainly on MinIO (RIP) locally, so I would expect some bugs when using it against AWS, although I was able to play with it on some open access buckets Be aware that I am not a C++ programmer and this project was indeed done to learn a bit of C++ myself :') Feedback on any of the code, either on gtest, or the benchmarking section or the core itself is welcome!

After getting frustrated with macOS's Spotlight search, e.g., typing "driver license" doesn't give me anything unless the file name matches exactly, I thought, why not index my entire Documents folder? This way, I can find that one PDF or image buried deep in subfolders using natural language queries. So I built SmartSearch; it uses SentenceTransformers for embeddings and FAISS for fast similarity search. Best of all, it runs locally on your computer.
