Hello, I am excited to announce the release of my project that I've been working on for quite a while. It has gone through many iterations. I believe that I now have a scalable platform that can efficiently ingest, search and report on large quantities of data. If you are at a very large scale, there will need to be some work to streamline your database access, but it is very possible to build a flexible and robust solution. Delve is built using Django, Django Rest Framework, webpack, JS and SCSS. Delve can be extended with apps, which are actually specially built Django apps. Delve has a…

We're sick of teaching (and using) SPSS, Stata, and R. Why isn't there a simple site that tells you which test to run, how to format your data, and how to interpret the results? We built LittleStat because we found the current tools unbearably painful. Looking forward to your feedback :) http://littlestat.com p.s. We're also looking for a couple more R/statistics experts to help us add tests and provide more detailed feedback.

In the past, we have used Spotlight for exploratory data analysis and tackling various model and data-related problems in our machine learning projects. What are…

Hey all! I wrote Explorer[1] a good few years ago now with the dream of fast dataframes with a dplyr-like API in a really powerful, ergonomic language (Elixir). It's proved pretty successful. Explorer is used in production at my company, and it's my go-to for quick data analysis. But maintaining it became a true albatross. Polars is an amazing project, but the development process is fast and a lot is very focused on the Python lib. We found that trying to maintain Explorer against Polars was a maintenance nightmare and eventually hit points where we had to give up features and found it…
