Hey HN! Author of the site here. I tried a few tricks to keep the text-generation part of the site up, but even leaning hard on Huggingface's API and bumping time-outs up, it looks like the site is struggling a bit. I'm going to see if there's anything I can do to keep the text-generation part available, but in the meantime, the pre-generated set should stay pretty stable. I've built a prototype of a conversational agent with an inner monologue, who gives the illusion of consciousness. And, according to Attention Schema Theory, consciousness is an illusion. So, this chatbot may be conscious. It's built with OpenAI's Completion API (based on GPT3) and React. You can test it / fork it at will, it's open-source. I would love your feedback on this experiment. Did we just reach artificial consciousness?

I have been dreaming of creating things (arts, games, etc.), but that wouldn't be possible because I can hardly draw anything. But now with Stable Diffusion everything is hopeful again, so I further collected the AI magics that I considered necessary in creation activities, and integrated them into an Infinite draw board (like Figma). Hope that I can hear from you, any advice or suggestions will be really appreciated!
