Libredesk is a 100% free and open-source customer support desk, the backend is written in Go and the frontend is in Vue JS with ShadnCN for UI components. Unlike many "open-core" alternatives that lock essential features behind enterprise plans, Libredesk is fully open-source and plans to always stay this way. It's in alpha (v0.1.0) right now, but there’s a working demo available. I built this because I wanted a truly open and self-hosted alternative to platforms like Chatwoot, Intercom, and Zendesk. Would love feedback, suggestions, and thoughts from the community. GitHub:…

Hey HN, Nir, Gal and Tomer here. Last week, we open-sourced Enrolla (https://github.com/enrolla/enrolla) - feature management for SaaS companies. It makes it easy for developers to control how their product behaves for customers in different pricing tiers. So things like which features are enabled for whom, rate limits and seat limits, but also your customer secrets (with end-to-end encryption), and other configurations. After 15 years of working together at various companies, where we rebuilt the same SaaS foundation layer again and again - we wanted to create something…

I work on R00M 101, a Reddit-based OSINT profiler. While building it, I realized most open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools are scattered across GitHub, outdated blog posts, or random Discords. So I put together a public-facing directory of 100+ OSINT tools used by analysts, journalists, and security folks, free, filterable, and categorized by risk, platform, and use case. The idea was to make something useful and no-friction. Built with static HTML + SQL backend + a lot of caffeine. Would love feedback on how to improve the UX or tool curation. If anyone wants to contribute tools or help…

I got tired of collecting open source projects in my chrome bookmarks so I decided to compile a curated list of: - Recently active projects on GitHub - Mostly dev tools (but also productivity, analytics) - Projects which are "Alternative to X software" My bookmarks are finally empty:D If you have a great open source tool you use, I'd be glad to hear your suggestions. Also, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Simon(sfarshid) and I spend a lot of time on GitHub. As data nerds we put together a quick tool to explore your repository’s data. How it works: - Data Loading: We use dlt to pull data (issues, PRs, commits, stars) from GitHub - Semantic Layer: Relta wraps the underlying dataset into a semantic layer so the LLM doesn’t hallucinate. - Text-to-SQL: A text-to-SQL agent transforms your plain-English question into a query using the semantic layer - Generative Charts: assistant-ui dynamically generates a chart based on the SQL query - Refinements: If the semantic layer can’t handle your question,…

Hi HN, I built SubTrack to help teams find unused SaaS tools and cloud resources before they silently eat into budgets. The motivation came from seeing how hard it is to answer simple questions: – Which SaaS tools are actually used? – Which cloud resources are idle? – What will our end-of-month spend look like? SubTrack connects to tools like AWS, GitHub, Vercel, and others to surface unused resources and cost signals from one place. Recently I added multi-account support, currency localization, and optional AI-based insights to help interpret usage patterns. This is an early-stage project…

Tl;DR Save 60% of development effort building your SaaS and enterprise apps using our open-source platform, demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gob4j072Isg Hi friends, It's a bit surreal writing a Show HN post, being a HN member since 2012, but I'm still excited to be here. We are Arek and Michal (hn: mgl), and we have published Openkoda - an open-source low-code platform for the rapid development of SaaS and enterprise applications. OUR STORY We met at the university and spent the next 10 years building high-performance applications for finance, eCommerce and travel…
