Hi HN, I'm a solo developer learning to code, and I'd love to share my second real project: MapMyLearn, an AI-powered app that automatically generates personalized learning paths based on any topic you input. What it does: Takes a topic (e.g. "history of capitalism", "learn Rust", or "data storytelling") Uses AI to break it down into a structured course with modules and submodules Each submodule includes: - Detailed, pedagogical content (developed based on online sources to mitigate hallucinations) - A quiz of 10 questions - Recommended resources - An AI chatbot for Q&A - Optional audio…

Hey HN, At Mintplex Labs are building developer tools for AI applications. One area we encountered frustration was the use of Vector Databases like Pinecone, Chroma, QDrant, or Weaviate to "unlock" long-term memory and contextual answers. It is nearly impossible to manage this data when in use for production. The craziest thing was how you cannot atomically CRUD any vectors in most of these vector databases. Let alone easily copy, clone, or migrate data or entire indexes without paying for re-embedding - among other things. With VectorAdmin you get a database level UI with the ability to…

Hey HN, I'm excited to share rtrvr.ai, a Chrome extension that brings the power of AI agents to your everyday web browsing. It's designed to automate complex web tasks, extract structured data from any website, and integrate with your favorite tools as you browse using AI Function Calling [ie: “Send this page summary as Slack message”]. The core idea is to let anyone, even non-developers, leverage the power of web automation and data extraction using natural language. Imagine being able to: Automate lead generation: Extract hundreds of LinkedIn profiles to Google Sheets, complete with…

Hi HN, I've been building Yonoma (https://yonoma.io), an email automation tool focused on early stage SaaS teams. I used a few well known tools in this space while working with other SaaS founders, and I kept seeing the same problem. These tools are powerful, but they are also built for larger companies. Setting up simple onboarding or trial reminder flows often felt heavier than it needed to be. Many founders told me they wanted something easier that still reacts to how users behave inside the product. So I tried to build something simpler and more focused. Yonoma sends emails…

Hello Hacker News community! I'm currently working in financial risk management within the banking sector, and I began my career as a Data Science specialist. For quite some time, my friend and I have been developing a small pet project just for fun. This tool has repeatedly helped us save time when testing various hypotheses and machine learning models. The core idea is to combine different scripts—created in various programming languages and virtual environments—within a minimalist graphical interface. Whether you're building models, running a local neural network, or sending requests to…
