Key management for multiple users and multiple cloud LLM/GenAI APIs is difficult to be both safe and convenient. Sharing keys among users risks leaking the key and makes it difficult to curb the leakage without interruptions. But assigning one key per user per cloud API results in too many keys to keep track of. Meet LlaMa(ster)Key, the secure and easy solution for API key management: * For each user, one master key for multiple APIs. * The master key is unique to each user. Granting and revoking a user's access won't impact other users. * The actual API keys to authenticate with cloud…

Hi HN, I got tired of having to register and having friends having to register accounts just for accepting a party or dinner invitation (also plenty of friends have left social media) so I coded a minimal, no-login event tool: https://yupno.com Dev-friendly stuff: Full REST API, async webhooks for RSVPs with Slack/Discord-adapted payloads. Auto-generates Ical, JSCalendar and JSON-LD. No auth, uses admin/user tokens in url. Should be possible connect to other stuff in fun ways. Free to use, no ads, no tracking. I just wanted a simple tool that respects my time and privacy.…

I was looking for a push-to-talk tool that allows me to just paste my speech transcription automatically into whatever application I'm using. I wasn't able to find anything simple enough that works, so I built my own. For now, it's just a basic CLI that works on Linux only using whisper.cpp. It is incredibly simple. You hold down the buttons, say stuff, release and then it will pipe the transcription lines to stdout. I'm using it to write this comment :)
